Freedom to use the word "Freedom" denied by Microsoft

"Microsoft's Chinese Internet portal has banned the words 'freedom' and 'democracy' from parts of its website in an apparent effort to avoid offending Beijing's political censors." Strangely, this story was reported on Microsoft's "Moneycentral" news website. Microsoft has an enlightened attitude about censorship, in that they censor stuff but don't censor mentioning of the fact that they are censoring.

But here's an idea: when totalitarian governments ask you to cooperate with them in maintaining their repressive power over their people, maybe it would be morally correct to just say no. At the very least, they should be aware that those who say no receive a better judgment in history than those who collaborate.
